What this policy covers.

This policy applies to arzcore.com, ArzCore Download Manager for Windows, and ADM browser extensions for Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Brave, and compatible Chromium browsers.

A focused connection.

The extension exists to connect your browser with the locally installed ADM desktop application so that downloads you initiate can be managed by ADM.

When necessary for that action, the extension may process:

• Download URL and final or redirected URL
• Filename, file type, referring page, and browser download information
• Cookies or authentication information associated with the specific requested download
• Supported Blob, Data URL, or page-generated download content
• Local extension settings, version, and connection status

Browser to desktop, locally.

The extension communicates with the installed application through the browser's Native Messaging system. The registered native host is com.arzcore.adm.

Native Messaging is used to send requested downloads to ADM, verify installation and connectivity, provide information needed for the transfer, and maintain a local extension heartbeat. It is not used to collect browsing activity for advertising or profiling.

Used for the transfer you request.

ADM may process the requested file URL, referring page, redirects, filename, and required HTTP headers to locate and download a file and prevent duplicate browser and ADM transfers. ADM does not use this information to build a browsing-history profile.

For downloads that require an existing signed-in session, the extension may access cookies associated with the specific requested URL and pass them locally to ADM. ADM does not request website passwords or use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or data brokerage.

Why the extension asks.

• Downloads: detect browser downloads and hand off a requested transfer after ADM accepts it.
• Native Messaging: communicate with the locally installed desktop application.
• Context Menus: provide “Download with ArzCore Download Manager” actions.
• Storage: save local preferences such as automatic capture settings.
• Notifications and Alarms: show status and maintain a lightweight local connection heartbeat.
• Cookies and host permissions: support user-requested downloads across websites, including authenticated transfers.

ArzCore does not sell extension data or transfer it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending decisions, marketing profiles, or cross-site tracking.

Stored on your computer.

ADM may store download history, filenames, URLs, save locations, status, file sizes, progress, settings, and extension connection status locally to provide download-management functionality.

You can remove download entries from ADM. If you explicitly choose to delete a downloaded file, ADM may remove that file from disk after confirmation.

ADM may contact the official ArzCore update service to check for a newer version and receive an installer URL, checksum, and release notes. Your download history is not required for an update check.

Standard delivery information.

When you visit arzcore.com, hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and request time for delivery, security, reliability, and abuse prevention.

ADM can download files from third-party websites. ArzCore does not control those websites' privacy, content, availability, or security practices.

Reasonable safeguards.

Safeguards include local Native Messaging, browser permission controls, restricted Native Messaging origins, HTTPS for official services, installer checksum verification, and local application storage. No software or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

ADM is a general-purpose utility and is not specifically directed toward children. It is not designed to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling.
